We are a team of dedicated music educators with many decades of collective teaching experience to offer to our learners. Jsic Music was established in 1996 and we have centres in Ipoh, Subang Jaya and Kuala Lumpur.

Key Team

Ms. Hew Siew Chin, M.M., B.M.Ed(Hons)

Ms. Hew Siew Chin was a recipient of many music scholarships from Kent State University and full graduate assistantship from the University of Akron; both at Ohio, USA, earning two music degrees; Bachelors of Music in Music Education (Hons) majoring in band and orchestra, and a Master’s of Music in Piano Performance.

Siew Chin has performed solo and toured several cities in Malaysia performing as a Piano Bassoon duo. She has facilitated music workshops and seminars throughout Malaysia. She has served as the Education and Outreach Manager with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (1998-2002) and was chiefly responsible in creating and setting up Malaysia’s first orchestral education department and programme. Ms Yew Hooi Koon

A graduate of Trinity College of Music, London, with 2 Diploma certifications, Ms. Yew is an experienced teacher with a passion and dedication to motivate students towards music excellence.

A sough after accompanist for exams all in East & West Malaysia and even at Singapore.

Ms Yew is a specialist and coach for the Piano Ed Discovery courses.
